STUDENT EXHIBITION

A call to change, to understand the power of design and its communicative power. The instruction was minimal, with our only guidelines being "create something that can communicate a message."

Our Mission:

To create a Graphic Design program made up of risk-takers, status-quo breakers, and skilled makers ready to use their education to transform the design industry— A community of faculty and students dedicated to collaborating toward constant growth and improvement. Our goal is to promote our passion for design and instill it in others.

On 11.29.17, four of my peers and I hosted an exhibition in the gallery of Iowa State's College of Design. We promoted our event on social media and through posters around the College of Design.

Our Exhibition consisted of a set of posters questioning students and faculty on their ideal Graphic Design program where they could anonymously write their responses. We created a video made up of student's responses on the current Graphic Design program, informational handouts, stickers, and an interactive wall where students and faculty could dip their hand in white paint (with a glove on) and make their mark on our road to change.

This is only the beginning.
